Pablo is a geographer and an enthusiastic activist for the environment and wildlife protection. He belonged to the Sea Shepherd Costa Rica volunteer team, and currently leads the FTO Education team, as well as being part of the Costa Rica University Ecological Front (FECOU). With this commitment he seeks, through education, mutual aid and direct action, to take care of the health of ecosystems. The oceans and their biodiversity have always been of great interest because they have been of vital incidence in the evolutionary process of our species: they are not only biophysical spaces, but multiterritorial areas that host complex social relationships and are symbols of adventures, dreams, hopes, fears, life and death.
From a cosmic perspective, everything participates in a daily and sometimes subtle way in our lives, and from there arises that magnetism that attracts us to the sea abyss. An abyss that teaches us that we are only a microscopic part of all the biodiversity on the planet, and not its owners.

You can protect threatened ocean wildlife and their habitats with a monthly donation to For The Oceans. We are thrilled to have recently acquired our first sailing vessel dedicated to educating youth about ocean conservation as well as cleaning up plastic debris. Your support of our oceans is needed now to enable us to secure a second vessel to begin patrolling Costa Rican waters to stop illegal and unregulated fishing. PLEASE DONATE TODAY!
