Has more than two decades of experience in managing natural resources and conserving biodiversity, agroforestry, ecosystem restoration, and protected areas. He has worked with communities, Conservation International, and the Tropical Science Center in various capacities, and has provided consulting services to other organizations in Central America. In addition, he played a key role in the establishment of the Osa Wildlife Refuge and served as the president of the Local Council of Corcovado National Park.
