Marcela comes from the world of communication through creative graphic design. Her professional work put her sensitivity in touch with the crucial issues of conserving nature and the planet's resources. As of 2017, she decided to put all her energy into environmental protection together with a group of friends and professionals, founding together with them the Costa Rican non-profit NGO For the Oceans foundation, aware that the life in its multiple forms was born into the planet’s waters and that the fight for healthy oceans is to protect the future of all biodiversity.
