Successful singer-songwriter and actress, she has participated in multiple productions both in film and on television; she also received several gold and platinum records, and she was nominated three times for the Grammy Awards. María Conchita is a champion of the fight against HIV and in the defense of animal rights, working with many groups for the protection of biodiversity around the world.For these purposes, she has created the non-profit organization Vee Fauna, with the objective of raising funds for both the HIV patients in Venezuela, as well as for animal aid associations, and she has also decided to join the efforts of FTO in the protection of migratory marine life of the Eastern Pacific.
